Sip & Letter Workshop, June 2nd

Few months in the making, my second brush lettering workshop in finally here. When I started I never really thought about teaching because lettering was just my hobby. But as I kept doodling away more and more people reached out with questions. And now, I am glad I can share what I have learned with others. When I was planning this workshop I wanted to make sure that it is different. I wanted to make it is affordable and inclusive. Lettering and calligraphy is not just for designers and artists, it is for everyone. The best part, it's one of the most affordable ways to express your creativity (unless you get into collecting pens like me). Hand lettering imperfections

Few months ago I had to hand write ideas for a presentation and I realized how rarely I get to do this nowadays. Between using all the laptops, smart phones and touch screens I had become disenchanted with hand writing. After all, a hand written note could never be as perfect as the one I can make on my computer. But I missed that feeling of creating with my hands, of making things imperfect.
